Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB) is an essential soil inoculant designed to unlock fixed phosphorus. A major portion of applied phosphatic fertilizers becomes insoluble in soil; PSB produces organic acids (like citric, lactic, and succinic acids) that chelate bound calcium, iron, or aluminum phosphates, converting them into plant-absorbable orthophosphate forms.
